Ingon is a practical jacket and is made of an inherently flame retardant fabric that provides very good protection against severe burns that can be caused by heat, flames or electric arcs. The jacket complies with EN ISO 20471, class 3, for high-visibility clothing. Due to the fluorescent colour fluorescent orange and the retroreflective material, the jacket also complies with the RIS-3279-TOM standard. This is a standard for high-visibility clothing that is mandated in the UK rail industry to improve the visibility of people on and around railway lines.+
