Leather hand protection and the most important differences
Animal skin can vary in quality depending on the part of the animal from which it was taken. Leather made from the back and shoulder areas of an animal is very strong, while leather from the sides is rather soft. Before processing, the material is divided into two layers. The outer layer is called grain leather or nappa leather and the inner layer is called split leather.
Grain leather or nappa leather is durable, soft, flexible and moisture-repellent. This makes it ideal for manufacturing assembly gloves that require a high degree of dexterity and comfort.
